INTRODUCTION:
Atlanta touts Buford Highway as an International Village and points signs at the general area in Doraville.
And indeed, going to Buford Highway for that international experience can seem like you've been dumped in a foreign country.

Looking at the chaotic signs, architectural oddities, and countless restaurants in various languages, do you even know which one is Korean vs. Thai vs. Vietnamese vs. Chinese vs. Japanese? The bigger, more important question is, do you know which ones are good? How do you find a good Korean restaurant when your craving for kimchi demands satisfaction? As soon as you are told to go to Buford Highway, you are resigned to give Kroger kimchi a try.

WHAT IS IT?
The Buford Highway Demystifier shows you where the great Korean restaurants and shops are based on my personal recommendation. As a Korean born in Seoul and raised in Atlanta, Buford Highway is my mainstay for nearly everything Asian, particularly for Korean food. When mom's home cooking isn't an option, I troll this great highway for authentic, spicy, healthy, delicious food.
